Week 62 - Taking responsibility

"When you blame and criticise others, you are avoiding some truth about yourself." (Chopra)

In Lebell's book, interpreting the work of Epictetus, she suggests that there is nothing to be gained from blaming others for any misfortunes. Upon reflection, I do find it difficult to remember a time when criticising another resulted in some kind of positive outcome. In addition, bringing blame on myself hasn't proven particularly worthwhile either. critic

Action: Invest energy in solving problems this week, rather than complaining about them.
