Week 95 - Sorry I'm late

time management.jpg

"Until we can manage time, we can manage nothing else." (Drucker)

Apparently, according to McKeown, we have an inability to make effective judgements on the amount of time an activity is likely to take us. I'm not going to lie, as an example, it would not be unlike me to send a message home, suggesting I'll return in 15 minutes, only to arrive back closer to 30 minutes late.

Question(s): What is your timekeeping like?

Action: Experiment with adding at least 50% to expected times (e.g. give yourself 90 minutes for an activity you think will take 60 minutes) and see how it plays out.
