Week 96 - No panic!

no panic.jpg

"Panic is not in the filing cabinet.” (Courtney Dauwalter)

In his book, Master of Change, Brad Stulberg discusses the benefits of responding rather than reacting. Clearly, this is not always easy, but he suggests experimenting with the 4 Ps, nonetheless. Next time you are faced with a challenging situation try:

Pause- breathe and give space

Process- address the facts of the issue

Plan- focus on your options

Proceed- take a step in the right direction

Question(s): What is your current approach to dealing with a crisis?

Action: Start experimenting with the 4 Ps during daily decision making. There is no need to wait for a crisis!
