While there is clearly a space for support from friends, family members, colleagues or coaches when we are trying to optimise our performance in any given area of our lives, the power of some self-coaching cannot be underestimated. As Daniel Pink suggests, sometimes, it's simply a case of prioritising a time to engage in some self-reflection and appraisal of our goals, current approaches, options and potential changes.
