UNDERSTANDING COACHING

The coaching relationship should be founded on the creation of a space for a conversation that includes active listening and the flow of ideas between the coach and the coachee. Given the time to think, open-ended questions, some feedback and a caring other to hold up a mirror to them, answers should emerge for coachees. Significantly, it is also important to note that coaching is a call to action and there is an expectation that change will occur.

ABOUT ME

As a coach, I believe that the coachee is the expert and that the creation of a space for curiosity and growth is crucial. Moreover, I trust in an organic coaching process, where new knowledge emerges as the coachee talks or sits quietly with some uncertainty.
