In their book, Peak Performance, Brad Stulberg and Steve Magness explore an optimal approach to growth and development (Stress + Rest = Growth). A key emphasis in this book is on working towards ensuring that you have the right balance of stress and rest in your life. If you are not paying close attention to both, you will struggle to reach your full potential.
